Security Data

The Orion Gemstone Company's gemstone and diamond reports contain parts of all the data gathered on a particular subject (gemstone or diamond). Any other data known by OGC and not shown on the report is therefore kept in a database as an extra security towards the validity of an OGC-report. This data may contain detailed pictures of a subjects cut, internal features (inclusions) and external features (blemishes).

The reason for keeping this background data on a particular subject is that in any case when there is doubt about a certain report refering to a gemstone/diamond (subject) it is easier to detect whether a specific OGC report was a determinaton of that subject.

When in doubt about an OGC report refering to a subject it came with please do not hesitate to contact us!
